Happy New Year!

It is kinda sad to see 2010 come to an end but I am excited to know what 2011 will hold in store for me. I have had a though year but it has had its wonderful bits about them as well. As I strive to focus on the positive and let the negative just melt into the background I find myself writing this post.

Memories from 2010:
-Moving in with Laura
-Making wonderful new friends!
-Seeing my Best Friend Kortnie get married
-Seeing my dear friends from high school return from 2 long years from their missions
-Having a wonderful job!
-Going on my very first cruise with Disney!!!
-Working on Den Brother

Hopes for 2011:
-More patience with myself and others
-More traveling (at least 2 cruises)
-More time for friends and family
-More positive attitude toward myself, others and life.
-Going to church more often.
-Get at least 1/4 the way through P90X (preferably the whole way but me being realistic... its not gunna happen so settling a reasonable resolution is 1/4)
-More film projects
-Remembering to blog at least once a month.

Thank you for being a part of my life may the Lord be with you! Happy New Year!!!

Magic

I didn't realize how much I really missed work until I got back to Florida and was waiting to go on my cruise. I got to the terminal and Minnie was there waiting to welcome me. I was so excited as I ran over to her I almost started to cry and before I knew it i was getting on to the boat jumping up and down so excited and squealing haha just to turn around and see Mickey right behind getting on the boat as well. I was SO excited!
I was then entertained thouroughly as we set sail heading to our first port of
call, Key West. I had a grand time there. We walked around the island went to the Southern Most Point and ate crepes at the Banana Cafe which might I add is amazing!!! I love that little crepe shop :)

Our first full day at sea we entertained our selves on the boat with board games, character meet and greets, a Tea Party with Alice and the Mad Hatter, followed by a princess night where we got to see a wonderful show called "Twice Charmed" a twist on the Cinderella story, which was fantastic. I really enjoyed it. Probably my favorite show that we got to see.

Our next Port of call was then Grand Cayman where we got to go snorkeling over a reef and then a shipwreck. We learned that the ship was the only one in existence to be sunk by
rice. kind of a funny story... Then after that since it was in the way of the dock they put 10 cases of dynamite (10 times the amount needed) to blow it out of the way... turns out they did more damage to the little town and onlookers then should have happened... oops.

There was a Villians Tonight show which was pretty cool and I got to meet Yzma!!!! I was totally freaking out. She is my favorite Villian of all time! Love her!

We then made our way to Cozumel, Mexico where Laura and I took a tour of the Mayan ruin in Tulum. It was pretty interesting and cool to see. Then headed back to the ship for another day at sea.

I met a lot of really nice people while on the cruise by day 5 about 75% of the entertainment cast members recognized me and new my name it was pretty cool. I loved seeing them around the ship.

We then headed to Castaway Cay which was so much fun. We had a lot of fun on the beach, I got to relax in a hammock and we did a bunch of other meet and greets with Characters as well. That night we had the Goodbye show which had me in tears within the first 10 minutes. I didn't want to say goodbye. It was a wonderful experience that I will never forget. Remember the magic let it live in your heart forever. All you need is a little faith, trust and pixie dust. I love Disney what it stands for and offers to all. The magic the hope for a better tomorrow smiles, laugh and love.
