Travel Agent Adventures!

So I recently decided to start on a new adventure.  I figured with my experience working at Walt Disney World and extensive traveling I would put it to use and start planning other peoples vacations along with my own.  So if you ever feel like taking a trip to Walt Disney World, or Universal, going on a cruise, seeing family or just going anywhere.  Maybe think of me and let me take some of the stress out of planning it for you!

Thank you for supporting me in this new adventure! Come along this ride with me!

Last night was a success!

In an effort to be more social, my roommates and I decided that we would like to have a weekly Tuesday get together. So last night was our very first game night!  There were the 3 roommates and 2 friends, and it was great!  We had a blast!! There were lots of games!  Some socializing and no one had a panic attack and died. So now we are trying to possibly make it a weekly thing, to get us to open up and be a little more social.  We started very small, but it went well!  I would definitely call it a success.  Hopefully next week will be just as good if not better!  Yay for trying to be more social!

Grandpa turned 90!!!

On January 4, my Grandpa turned 90!!!

I am so blessed to have been able to come and celebrate with him and family.  The past Year has been rough with his health and such but I am glad he is still with us.  I love him so much and treasure every moment I get to spend with him!

As a gift we made him a shadow box of his time as the Wales City Marshal and celebrating him going through the police academy and graduating at the age of 52!

Goodbye 2017, Hello 2018 May you bring even more adventure!

2017 has been a great year for me! Full of change, goals, travel, and adventure!
The year started a bit rough.  I was living in Sanford, FL and not really loving life but trying to find the positive. I found this quote and couldn’t help but think it was very appropriate for where my life was at that moment. It became the driving force of the year and a constant reminder.

Just because things aren’t going my way doesn’t mean I have to dwell on them. You can always find beauty in the situation if you look hard enough.  A cactus is a beautiful thing. It just isn’t meant to be used a chair. When you have the wrong approach you will get negative results.
I was also getting ready to move to Arizona, a place I had only visited about 3 times previous. To say I was nervous doesn’t even touch it. But I am so glad that I made that decision, it has definitely blessed my life.

Throughout the year I have moved to Arizona, bought a brand new car, done a solo road trip covering 9 states, went to 4 corners for the first time and was able to see the Grand Canyon, met my goal of attending 25 temples by the end of the year, gone on 3 cruises of which have taken me to Jamaica, Aruba, CuraƧao, Bonaire, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Bahamas. I have made some wonderful new friends and just had an overall wonderful year!

I am looking forward to the adventures that 2018 will bring!  I have set goals of attending 10 new temples (1 of which outside the USA), go on 2 cruises (1 is already booked for April!), and walk 1,000 miles!

A year in review

At the end of 2010 I made this list of my hopes for 2011 I would like to now share how well I did....

Hopes for 2011:
-More patience with myself and others
Well, I started off the year great, but temded to slip into my old habits... this is probably something I should work on more in 2012 I can never have enough patience.
-More traveling (at least 2 cruises)
I have done this... I have gone back and forth from FL to Utah multiple times... took a very short road trip bringing the van to FL which promptly died, but I got to go to Texas for the first time and spend time with my wonderful cousins.  And where cruises are concerned ,I went on my first cruise on the Disney Wonder 10 nights to the Mexican Riviera, First cruise on the newest Disney ship the Dream to the Bahamas, and then another trip on the Disney Magic for night nights to the Caribbean.  Making 3 cruises in total!
-More time for friends and family
Considering how many times I went to Utah and went on 2 cruises with my family I consider this accomplished.
-More positive attitude toward myself, others and life.
This is a life long hope and goal... no matter how positive I am now it can always be improved...
-Going to church more often.
I failed at this one... I have skipped out more times then I should whether it be for illness, travel or just plain laziness, I need to be better at this... hopefully 2012 will be better!
-Get at least 1/4 the way through P90X (preferably the whole way but me being realistic... its not gunna happen so settling a reasonable resolution is 1/4)
Failed this one miserably... i think i did 5 days... oops...
-More film projects
Accomplished!  I had the wonderful opportunity to work on "Good Luck Charlie: It's Christmas!"  Was a wonderful experience :)  Hopefully I will be able to work on more projects in the future!
-Remembering to blog at least once a month.
I did ok until about April and then it went down the crapper... lets see how well I do this year :)

Memories from 2011:
-Moving out of Laura's
-Auditioning for Disney Cruiseline twice!
-Going on 3 wonderful cruises!
-Going to Disneyland with Heidi and the Girls
-Working on Good Luck Charlie: It's Christmas!
-Driving across country in the van
-Killing my mustang, the family van, and purchasing my very first brand new car!  I love my 2011 Suzuki!!
-Seeing New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys in Dallas, TX with Elisa!
-Christmas with my family at Disney World!
-Bringing in the New Year with Logan in the stairwell watching fireworks from 3 Disney parks at once (by the way they are not all insync. lol)

I don't know what 2012 will hold but I hope it will be great!!

Is it really 2012!

Well, it is the beginning of yet another year to procrastinate... I could say that I am going to be better at writing up here, or that I am going to exercise more, or do p90x, or eat better, and crap like that but I know I won't stick to it, so wy make promises I can't keep.  What I can do is share my hopes though...

My hopes for this year are that I will be more positive, and not push people away.
I hope to get a job with Disney Cruise Line and enjoying every second of it.
I hope to work on at least 1 film project this year.
and I hope to be able to get out of debt, while still being able to enjoy life to fullest.

Yes, I know some of these hopes are far fetched and unattainable at the moment... but these are my hopes... not goals... Only God knows what is in store... I hope he brings the best!

Guests Say the Darndest Things... #4

Mickey's Smile
I was helping out Mickey this evening at Contemp & overheard this woman talking to her daughter (aprx. age 4)
Mom: "Look at Mickey's smile, it's like he got botox!"
Girl: "Mom? When do I get a butox smile?"
... I have no idea what followed, I had to leave the room I was laughing so hard.
